After many years away from home, Mathis (Ward Kerremans) returns to his childhood village in Vlaanderen to face his father. His father, Nicholaas (Sam Louwyck), is the owner of a small weapon smuggling business, and he sets up a trap for Mathis so that he will join the business again.
